Upended

I couldn't sleep so I left my wife at the hotel while I walked the 2 a.m. streets of New Orleans.

A mixed girl walked by looking mighty high
I said, “Hey.” She looked at me shy
Her breasts peeked out from under her shirt
I said, “You’re so pretty, it hurts.”

“Why are you alone out on the streets?”
She said, “Doing tricks. Got needs to meet.”
My heart did a jump and I shook inside.
I’d never done this wild of a ride.

She laughed and said, “Can always use another hit.”
Wanna come upstairs and visit a bit?
My heart was pounding, I said, “Maybe.”
She said, “Come on up. I think you'll enjoy me.”

She stumbled up some narrow stairs
Her dark skin shined as it met the air
In a moment she wrapped her arms around me
Her black breasts I could clearly see

I bent down to kiss her nipples
She smiled and said, “They love to be nibbled.”
I moaned when she rubbed me where I grew hard
What would my wife think? I let down my guard.

This girl’s lips were magic like I’d not felt before
She licked me up good, a professional whore
She laid back and spread her long legs in the air
Her dark saved pussy was sweet and so fare

I climbed up on top and she slid me within
Now I was totally engulfed in my sin
I began to see the face of my wife,
“What is to become of your deplorable life?”

As I rode in and out she let out a shout
Then looked in my eyes with an evil pout,
“Thank you for entering my tunnel of love
You now have disease handed down from above.”

She said, “So sorry preacher, I hate to reveal
How you put on a front while behind you do steal.”
I looked all confused as my final thrust ended
She said with a wink, “Your life’s now upended.”

I visited your church just a few days ago
And saw how you preached and the seeds that you sow
But I knew I could break you, it was easy you see
And now, your life is tangled with me.

I said, “I will pay whatever you wish.”
She said, “Twenty thousand should make me quite rich.”
I’d go to the bank and bring back the cash
She held me hostage so my actions were rash

As I stood where her nakedness lay
I knelt down beside her and began to pray
I ended with “Forgive me for what I might do
I’m going to choke the life out of you.”

It took much longer than I’d expected
Here eyes finally dulled with no pulse detected
I touched her lips gently thinking of men
Who’d shared them with me in committing our sin

No one would miss her this whore from Canal Street
I would live life now free of this scene

But visions of her death played again and again
The heaving and kicking of her strong darkened skin
She tortured me with the depth of my sin
Within a few weeks my life would end.
