The cessation of life when the soul leaves the flesh
When the evolution of another entity starts to manifest
When the heart in our chest doesn't beat anymore
Game being over and no other's taking score

No more pain from the rain that's been pouring down
Our disdain and our rage dissipate into the ground
Will there be sounds of laughter in the hereafter
Or does the comedy end like a book's final chapter
