Same is Best
Perhaps the same is for the best
connections made in relevance
when similarities move the heart
and cause coyness to depart
some would ask why this is
that sapphic thoughts lead to bliss
their derision matters not
when two souls are resolved
finding pleasure across the board
from conversation to intercourse
above all else love is found
it’s to this feeling each is bound
the queer approach is not for all
some are cursed to hetero
revel is the same is best
be the flavor east or west.

Another great poem. Another great message.
I think in the next to last line you meant to say "revel IN the same is best" instead of "revel is the same as best." I love poetry and stories that cause me to look up words in the dictionary, even if it's a word that is just uncommon enough that I question my current understanding of it. Though I am well-acquainted with Greek and Roman roots, "sapphic" was a new word to me entirely and you have just broadened my vocabulary. Thank you.
Only because you ask for honest critique, I will mention that, once again, the third-to-last line feels slightly forced to me. In this instance, it isn't to maintain rhyme, but it seems forced to continue the rhythm. I have no suggestions for it, especially as it seems to be an important message you wish to convey in the poem. I think the term "hetero" is so forthright while the other words in the poem have a somewhat veiled meaning; it seemed like a jump from the more poetic, abstract flow you had going. I wish I could be more helpful on this, but all I can say is that line pulled me out of the poem a bit, but not enough to reconsider my admiration of the poem as a whole.
