Students Civil Disobedience
Does the circle repeat
once again
from our history
where it first
began
when the humans
broke away
from the slaves
when honest people
Vented
their rage
was when the straw
began to break
the camel's back
was when they saw
their children's blood
begin to flow
in the gutters
on our streets
All Alone
Broken
slowly dying
with their life's blood
dripping
from their lips
Still Chanting
those words
NO MORE CHAINS
once again
from our history

Chains have many forms. Lock-down and the destruction of lively-hoods using an over-hyped flu-bug as an excuse is of course just one of them.
