LINEAR TIME
A way to describe how I create,
is, I go into a liminal state,
stand at the doorway, wait at the gate,
for the message I choose to translate.
I guess at times I dwell too long,
get caught up listening to my song
torn for a place to really belong,
knowing all I can do is be strong.
Going there and being here,
writing things down to make them clear,
conquering as well as avoiding fear,
with linear time reminders always near.
