I miss the way it was
I miss the world
I miss the smiles
I miss a sit-down meal,
with waiters and waitresses
I miss handshakes and high-fives
I miss the mornings
I miss the crowds, the lines,
shopping in a normal store
I miss no gloves and no masks
I miss hugs
I miss my friends,family and co-workers
I miss church
I miss alarm clocks
I miss sports
I miss normal
I miss people
I MISS YOU...

You know...despite these caution rules...
My close ones that I depend upon...I cannot help but hug, despite the danger of it all.
Those close ones I don't get to see, O how much I miss them...
This was known and felt before this scourge came along...now it's with that bit of fear in the back of the mind...I hope we push our way past this to be with each other again...Truly sad are these days.
