Soul Food

What do you do when try a new flavor?
Atlanta savors the flavors that drip through the streets.
Do you dare to eat some sweet heat barbecue?
Don't misconstrue Atlanta firepits with Charlotte or you might get the stink eye.
Fried chicken is our specialty.
Heavenly thick breasts dressed to succulent perfection.
Do you have affection for oven baked mac and cheese?
Southern nominees guarantee their mac and cheese like their pastor's next sermon on Sunday.
One day when your in The A save space for JR Crickets,  they hot wings with peach soda on my hit list.
Get this, southern soul food so good you'll go through the boldest hood to get a plate.
Truth be told on the coldest winter night the right bite will set your heart right.
Think twice before you ask for a slice of homemade-window placed pecan pie scented with desire.
Candle fire could set the table and the mood, but don't elude to the history of the plate.
Make no mistake that plate is not lightweight,  many a times it was garnished with hate.
Racism is overrated; have you tasted the chicken?
Thicken your mind to the sweet sensuality laced in the plate.
Straight heavenly soul stroking finger sucking crispy poultry served with love.
Our flavor tells the history of the south.
Hot sauce in your mouth, in my house we ate Nigerian soul.
Old flavors met with southern cuisine brings new love to the southern cooking born on the plantation.
I'm tasting a new flavor stemming from the New South.
I'm calling out about that taste that makes your leg shake.
It makes your heart quake.
This flavor wakes the lover in you.
Go in a southern kitchen and we'll show you how to make it do what it do.
