Since I've not managed to finish any poems recently, leftover from last year or new, nor feel inspired (as of now) to do so, thought I'd begin a series to share maxims I've pulled from my writing journal. At risk of exposing my half-baked self.

Brevity and economy are not always the same, but they are quite in harmony with this write. There are many rivers flowing silently from these still waters. Beautifully elucidated.

Brevity is the usage of few words. Economy is imbuing copious meaning into the words you use.
