Tension

Music plays softly in the background
Matching the rhythm of my pulse
The sounds of his drums
Plays along to the beat of my heart
I move,
Fire soars from the crown of my head
To the center of my core
I move,
My hips move like ocean waves
As puddles form beneath me
Engulfing itself around his shaft
My furnace slowly rises
I move,
Up and down
Arching my back
Gripping my walls
Releasing whispers and prayers
She calls out to him
Like,
Moths to a flame
Like,
Bees to honey
Like,
A lioness in heat
I move,
Almond eyes stare into black coals
One impulse at a time
I move with them to come to him
Tongues intertwine
The temple increases
Nearing closer to my release
Yearning for more
I move,
Closing my eyes, fearlessly, I fall
Into a space of our own
Spinning off into euphoria
I willingly give into the power of your drums
Releasing a breath
I didn't realize I was holding
I open my eyes and exhale
Drifting back into reality
Fantasizing about the man sitting next to me …

Author's Note
This poem was inspired by this fine ass man I saw on the train, the chemistry and attraction between us was intense. I always regretted not talking to him...
