Looking Back
I guess there's a pillar of salt
standing near Mt. Sodom
that wishes it never
took that glance over
the shoulder.
Regret?
Fuck it.
Sometimes you've got to see
the world burn, to really grasp
what's happened.
standing near Mt. Sodom
that wishes it never
took that glance over
the shoulder.
Regret?
Fuck it.
Sometimes you've got to see
the world burn, to really grasp
what's happened.

Nik, this observation is nailed so perfectly and I hope you don't mind if I nominate it in the poem of the month.
