BEING ALIVE

Whatever happens
it'll be ok,
we are creatures
with amazing ways
to adapt to change,
to overcome,
what at first can be
thought by some
to be a disaster,
a catastrophe,
had to happen so
other things could be
brought about for
the greater good.
We often think of
could and should,
but really what
shall be shall be,
when we take
the time to see,
look at things
positively,
we realize it'll be ok,
we will cope with
whatever way
things turn out,
we always do,
it's part of what
we're going through
here on earth with
lessons to learn,
eventually we all
have a turn
to understand we
can cope, survive
as we realize what it
means to be alive.
