Narcan Angel
Crimson curtains spill onto the dresser like the blood spilling down her neck
From dull tipped kisses and pecks
Framed in a murky halo of florescent
Her hair serpents slithering deep down into burn holes in the mattress
Hands exposed power lines humming with electricity
Delicate hollow moans
Punctuate breaths nicotine soaked
Her whispered lies narcan in disembodied tones
Our bedroom door would open and shut
Without our touch
She always had said there was a poltergeist in the apartment
But it was really her
All along
From dull tipped kisses and pecks
Framed in a murky halo of florescent
Her hair serpents slithering deep down into burn holes in the mattress
Hands exposed power lines humming with electricity
Delicate hollow moans
Punctuate breaths nicotine soaked
Her whispered lies narcan in disembodied tones
Our bedroom door would open and shut
Without our touch
She always had said there was a poltergeist in the apartment
But it was really her
All along
