I enjoyed reading this, CMV. There's something between the lines that emanates such a gentle genuineness.  

In the spirit of honest critique, I would suggest removing the end stops.  It's a very abrupt read with them ( think stop/start in a stick shift someone doesn't know how to drive ).  You could use nothing, as the letters to each line are capped. Or, you could cap only the beginning of sentences.  Or, you could use alternative forms of punctuation, such as semicolons, dashes, etc.  

Here's a bit of fiddling so you can compare:  

Late nights awake were worth a lack of sleep;
even though it’s sleep I crave
[T]ime's expensive[,] and I’m not cheap—
waiting for confirmation.
Take your pictures off[:] save them for me. . .
Addicted to false fame you’ll disagree[ ; ]
[y]ou’re so much better th[a]n* you claim to be.

* Than is used when you're discussing comparatives; then is used when referring to something about time.  

I think what disturbed me the most about the end stops is the disconnect between thoughts.  What you are trying to do through the verse is connect with this person. And, while the actual verse conveys that ( imho ), it's the punctuation that is disconnecting thoughts which should be joined ( imho ).
