Flaming Child
As your magenta eyes
and azure hair
fade into the blackness of the night
I wonder how I got so lucky
to be in your presence
who up in the cloudy skies
decided to bring us together
what fates figured that I,
a lonely child with flaming untangled hair
and wild silver eyes
needed a person like you
a person who isn’t wild like the beasts in the woods
but someone who is wild like the falling snow
a mysterious person that doesn’t need to be solved
because solving you, my love, would only lead to more questions
but you cracked the case of my broken heart
and used the tools of your iris hands and crimson words
to heal it and mend it back to it’s original self
and I shall forever be grateful to you
and can never repay you for what
magical things you’ve done in my life
and azure hair
fade into the blackness of the night
I wonder how I got so lucky
to be in your presence
who up in the cloudy skies
decided to bring us together
what fates figured that I,
a lonely child with flaming untangled hair
and wild silver eyes
needed a person like you
a person who isn’t wild like the beasts in the woods
but someone who is wild like the falling snow
a mysterious person that doesn’t need to be solved
because solving you, my love, would only lead to more questions
but you cracked the case of my broken heart
and used the tools of your iris hands and crimson words
to heal it and mend it back to it’s original self
and I shall forever be grateful to you
and can never repay you for what
magical things you’ve done in my life
