The woman and girl

 A woman is trapped in such a naive little girl...

*Sound of static*

She knows more about the past and present,
yet the girl won't listen to her steady words,
not knowing their worth,
not knowing that they’re a bloody, fucking present,
that  doesn’t have to be given,
that  oxygen  is being used, for the message to be ringing out through the room, a loud verbal send’en,
a precious present,
under appreciated,
thrown away wisdom,
an example of irony at its finest  

*white noise, more static*

Un-Shamefully the little girl cries,
she twirls,
letting her emotions play on the unstable people in our unstable upside down world,
until she falls and gets hurt she doesn’t listen to the other girls words and even then,
rejection is shoved upon the opened hand,
and the cycle begins all over again ,
at a faster pace,
gravity taking hold of her…
in the end pulling her down to sink her into the times of sand

"Why won't you let me help you?"
“Because I’ve seen what thinking does to you and I don’t want to grow up to be displeased at the world just like you”

Sometimes they scream and fright, throwing all sorts of things:
bad memories,
broken promises,
broken trust,
break ups,
broken voices,
crushed dreams...

But in the…..

At The end of the fling,
together they cling,
in desperation,
figuring out how much they crave each other’s attention and nightly, disruptive,  destruction
how much they need
the satisfaction of the noise of each other’s voices,
of the soft crying, that’s almost like a hypnotizing lullaby
to drown out the white static,
the ear piercing noise that drives them crazy…
