Sweet is Passion's Wound
We cannot imagine a greater thing than a martyr's love
so we climb the nearest cross at its first full moon
and there we enter its membership - pain as but a garnish
to the sweetest feast of manifest abundance in affection
a heaven
The inability to sustain joy in the face of isolation
becomes our testimony to the importance of intimacy
and the gift of unconditional accepting love...
healing in the face of surrounding support
the pinnacle
Forgiveness is a teaching only valuable within a balance
allowing for boundaries, earned trust, and selected contact
Within the declaration of self without limitation by ego
fruit of full union as well as protective isolation crystallizes
all while attaining its intended delightful ambrosia
...a smooth sigh
Endurance through the jarring violence of
wounds upon your hidden, internal passion
...upon the stagnant and lonely inner flame
returns the soul to the feast without end
if allowed its sweetest, most tender place
in radical life
so we climb the nearest cross at its first full moon
and there we enter its membership - pain as but a garnish
to the sweetest feast of manifest abundance in affection
a heaven
The inability to sustain joy in the face of isolation
becomes our testimony to the importance of intimacy
