When it's quiet
The light has slowly creaped past the curtains..
But the darkness still hasn't disappeared.
And I swear I can hear your broken heartbeat from here.
Just by looking at you, I know that your dreaming.
Even though it's quiet, It's sounds like screams to me.
And the suspence of your awakening, has left me in wonder.
Do you feel the same way that I do right now?
What I don't understand is why we're doing this to ourselves.
The best part is over.. Can't we just give up?
Say that I am selfish but It's hard to explain,
How this is anything but l o v e.
I've thought about disappearing.
-MIA- sounded like a good idea at the time.
Instead I string you along. Are you stringing me along too?
How much longer can we keep this up?
A million no shows and a thousand Not tonight's,
isn't enough to break us. I Have tried.
But I can't bring myself to be the one to say good bye.
So i'll tell you that I love you, when I know you cannot hear me.
And I will keep waiting for you to realise.
And You keep me waiting to hear you say were done.
