Safe in the Starlight Gaze

Safe in the starlight gaze,
There you lie,
Clear through the sunlight glades,
I saw you fly,
Heaven has taken one more to it’s breast
Why must it leave us here, and take the best?
Heaven help you as you go your way,
Why could you not be allowed to stay?

Circles completed you climbed your peak,
Helped to the light by the son you seek,
Mountains were moved while you’re on this world,
Now planting forests, your shoots unfurl,
You swam through this world with the subtlest grace,
Close friends all one in Love’s trace.

Author's Note
Lin was a most remarkable woman. While on this earth she moved mountains. Now she is planting forests in a better place. God Bless her soul ❤️
