Two Doors
The war in my mind isn't being fought quietly.
I hear it's persistent beat.
The storm in my soul isn't calming or subsiding.
I sense it's raging intelligence.
The longing in my neglected places isn't easing.
I ache with it's subtle intensity.
The first door leads to a quiet painful walk and a loving comfortable empytyness or does it?
I know it's sensible.
The second door leads to a raw painful walk and a joy fulfillment never felt before or does it?
I feel it's honesty.
The way forward isn't revealing itself without a fight.
I scream at it's complexity.
