Was it all a dream?
everything in my head?
were your words all lies?
every gentle whisper
each sweet nothing
who's to say?
You boosted my ego when I was low
I gave it my all
was aiming for forever
but you let that slip away
all I can say is
Thank you for
dragging me out of that abyss
without you there would be none of this
No confidence
No happiness
No motivation
I'd be lyin' around
whining about my life
but not changin' it
now everyday I can smile
even without you

Me and my girl split a while back. It was nice while it lasted and I sincerely thank her for helping me through so much. It's a real shame she decided it was better to end things.

Sometimes, people can become depleted when they give, give, give and the other party isn’t in a position to reciprocate !
Happiness, is an inside job... and that entails reciprocation too in a relationship.
I’m sure she’s healing from the bond that was unable to reciprocate as she poured all she had to raise your vibration.
