Above The Clouds

At times I felt so blue that you'd thought I was a Crip
A Smurf with girth who was ready to dip
Use to sip more frequently; hoping to ease the pain
My psyche was more likely to drive me insane

So I switched lanes & made changes in my life
The lane I was riding in had traffic full of strife
Divorced my wife & cut ties with my mother
They're selfish & vindictive is what I'd discovered

I've hovered above all of those stratus clouds
All I have to say to them is look at me now
They tried pulling me down but still I rise
My eyes have seen the glory & recognized their disguise
