The Fabric Of Her
Adventurous and excitable,
Spontaneous and sweet;
So irresistibly desirable,
With a taste that can't be beat!
She's awesome and spectacular,
Not a phrase exists to describe her love;
Defying every vernacular,
A gracious gift from God above.
Her love, to me, so tender,
Serving as a sweet surrender;
Rose-colored memories are rendered,
By the fire's crackling embers.
Her touch, so gentle on my skin,
Lips pressed softly on my own,
Resounding ripples deep within,
Shake foundations laid in stone.
Like the freshest breath of air,
Her fragrance fills my lungs;
Of the ladder of her love,
I'm reaching for the rungs.
She's an aromatic molecule:
A special type of pheremone,
Secreted from her follicles,
Arousing my testosterone.
With an explosion of emotion,
Her fiery passion fills my skies,
Such dedication and devotion,
Tears of joy fall from my eyes.
So she surrounds me in a quilt,
Knit from the fibers of her soul;
This love that we have built,
Thread together as a whole.

Re. The Fabric Of Her
Obviously You were FEELING when You spilled this Beautiful ink
what a wonderful description of a love
(Your author notes reminded me of a time i was showing Sky_Dancer some poems at my Wordpress account and She was asking why i didn't post a certain spill and i told her i didn't think it was very good and She said i should as She loved it. & so i did.........we artists are our own worst critics, eh?)

Hey Tallen,
You are too kind; thank you so much for your wonderful comment!
I appreciate you sharing that little memory with me too. It's so true... Many of us strive for perfection, a standard which we will never meet. The poets if this website have helped my confidence, though... and I can thank you, and many others here for that! I am forever grateful for you all 🙏 ❤️

Re. The Fabric Of Her
Well NewB,
Its a great piece of emotional display.
I think for me this is the first i read of yours all ...breathing love. It has like a morning tone when the sun is rising between a lil dark and light, and the song of a bird in paradise...beautiful,
