Crossing Paths
We meet people through out our life
We cross paths with them
For a time, for a moment And sometimes for a certain season under the heavens
They bring us happiness
A kind of joy that we can only feel with them around
But at some point in our life
We have to let go of them
When the season is over
It leaves a pang in our hearts
A pain that stays for a long time
Until a new season comes along
That brings healing to our soul
A new spring appears
A flower blooms again in our heart
And the smile returns to our face
To replace the tears that fell
We cross paths with them
For a time, for a moment And sometimes for a certain season under the heavens
They bring us happiness
A kind of joy that we can only feel with them around
But at some point in our life
We have to let go of them
When the season is over
It leaves a pang in our hearts
A pain that stays for a long time
Until a new season comes along
That brings healing to our soul
A new spring appears
A flower blooms again in our heart
And the smile returns to our face
To replace the tears that fell
