Thoughts Of A King
I'm afraid that I may have led my people into burning buildings
Throwing them into rooms with collapsing ceilings
I was dreaming & that dream became a nightmare
I would do things differently if I was still there
Many don't seem to care about the plights of their brothers
Focused on celebrity affairs more than their daughters
Still getting slaughtered in the streets by the beast
Calling themselves savages and preying 'fore they feast
Those praying to the East & praying to the West
Haven't caused the violence to diminish any less
I confess that we're sick with that P.T.S.D.
Heavy on our chest is post traumatic slavery
The thoughts of a king; violently removed from his throne
Conveyed remotely; cause he can't use the phone
He said go on and poetically share these thoughts
For it's a tragedy to see the web in which we're caught
