the daughters of Elysium
shimmer in the light
of waves of heat arising
from sunlight oh so bright

in a secret place caressed by winds
and bound by natural law
you are on my mind again
in forever more

as rushing waters sparkle
through the forest's hush
the daughters of Elysium
dance in nature lush

on my mind you are again
and too you're in my heart
we seem joined forever
even though apart

as the daughters of Elysium
come in and out of view
in my mind and in my heart
I think of only you

with whispered thoughts unspoken
flowing in between
synchronizing ecstasies
awake in the same dream
