pissing off a poet
is the worst offense
a poet can destroy you
without moving their lips
scary, isn’t it?
i’ll rip apart your ignorance
like I tear up notebook pages
i’ll dream a murder story
and send you the letter
my paper is a canvas
to paint my angered mind
but all your weapons are spoken
only to dissolve with a passing breath
my weapon’s built to last
and signed in red.
