Forbidden Love
I watched you from a distance
As you slowly faded into the horizon
Out of my parallel universe and into your reality
How I wanted to run after you
And pull you back into my arms
I called out your name
But only I could hear the words
For the next few minutes, time stood still
Why do we have to exist two worlds apart
Why didn’t my heart fight
Not to fall in love with you
Is Love too fierce a battle for the weak
As I close my eyes,
My mind wanders to our lustful night of sin
When your every touch
Awakened the flames of desire
If only I could screenshot
The tidal wave of emotions your smile caused
Only then would you understand
The emptiness I feel
When you walk out of my door
And into your reality

The Kiss
In this tranquil night of rising moon in bliss,
forging themselves to a longing kiss.
Unmasked, unsought unbetrayed passionate gaze so deep,
lifting subtle shadows from the soul waking sleep.
Weary hearts in destiny of pain,
sanctuary of memories to love again.
No one is so accured by fate,
or utterly desolate.
Responds by unseen wings,
touches quivering harmonies and musical strings.
Melodies whisper in this sensuous song,
where have you been for so long.
The elevated heart in love so bold,
are the innovation by mysteries to behold.
Stretching the edge of reality what to become,
beating the rhythm of the individual drum.
Claiming that subtle purpose in its right,
taking that eternal spirit at the moment to all its might.

Hmmm...a little baffled 🤔 was expecting some sort of critique but not sure whether the message is hidden in between the lines.....should I keep looking???
