Drudge For Love

It's easier to judge than to drudge through the mud in an attempt to understand
The journey of a woman or man seeing one set of footprints in the sand
Traveling through the School of Hard Knocks nonstop all around the clock
Doing what they can to remain standing and surviving on their block

Life's chock full of people passing judgment upon one another
'Cause it's more simple to do so than to show love for a brother
You'll discover that many are battling demons each and everyday
If you took the time to dwell within their minds BEFORE they pass away

Some smoke jays or an array of other things as they're trying to cope
This game can beat you up and down; causing you to lose hope
Dope addicts, unlike rabbits, never desired to consume trix/tricks
But their habits say that they must have it in order to get their next fix

Many are sick both emotionally as well as psychologically
But it's easy to ignore that which isn't seen physically
We habitually miss many things that are right under our nose
Not recognizing the depth of others struggles until their blood flows
