Under My Tree

The visitors disperse
and the chaos subsides
another festive Christmas
just passed us by

A return to my nature
and these hidden naughty thoughts
of a new fleshed out fantasy
shall I let that needle drop?

Bet those new undies
would be a pleasure to screen
I know that kind invitation
could get a little obscene

But if you'd like my opinion
I've got plenty of food,
and a nice glass of Pinot
might just lighten the mood

I know you'd look perfect
sprawled under my tree,
to acknowledge that ache
could be your gift for me

Been hiding this bulge,
since the guests have arrived
been a few days
since I've felt this alive

It is clear certain appetites
can be appropriately shared
and I sense that our bodies
won't be easily spared

I like that the impact
scores an affirmative yes
to the tune of our excitements
so perfectly pressed

That heat keeps on climbing
from the worship and greed
of a lustful endeavor
to satisfy need.
