The Way To Go Was The Way They Went

IT was just
                                 the perfect
                  time'o'day
'ere in sunny funny    F l o r i d a ,   and
wee all know he shoulda been filthy rich
from birth......as it was, he wasn't worth
so much as can be said of
                         shit.         I don't care.
                                        gotta love all these children
                                                         of  God
                                            during which we'll celebrate
                                                            a
Crepuscule  (in dear Nellie's name)       in a funny'bunny
                                                               Gunshine state.

Let's go to  the naked veranda /
(or/ go naked to the veranda)---(whichever is yours too sore
                                                                               to choose).

"oh you think it's too cold?  So sorry for makin'you naked.
Let's listen to Violets For Your Furs, and furry you up! Quick!
i'll call for the Vintage 1998 magnum of Gatorade,
AND  for the Lobster Thermidor --------I caught that
                                             crustacean
                                            bare-handed               (bare-assed)
                                              just today
                                     just this very moanin'! "

To       say        that        ~things ain't what they used to be~
in Duke's orchestra (or any other such star studded
                                     institute), would constitute
                                   a blasphemical misattitude
                                         most worthy of
                                     another Gatorade
                                                                          (splash in the sea).
                                with no-thing else to offer
