Ah..., the advantage of years - but sometimes I look back and think 'how in the hell did I get through that lot?' - but I must have done because I'm still here to tell the tale. Growth is what it's all about in the end, I guess.

I know wherefore ye speak amigo ... you get the message, it's plain to see... and we're both still here... amazingly... somehow we handled the crushing blows
that threatened our egos and our repose.
After those conflagrations we rose from the ashes... bloodied but better armed...
than we'd ever been...
