Somewhere quiet
I want to go
On the coldest day
Where the snow has built up
Overnight
We'll sink knee deep
As we trudge along
I'll fall and sprain a wrist
You'll catch a small cold
Deep into the wood
For one afternoon
Just us
This winter chill
This cold pain
Insignificant in the moment
Deep into the wood
I've come to pay my respects and
You've come
To make sure I get
Home
On the coldest day
Where the snow has built up
Overnight
We'll sink knee deep
As we trudge along
I'll fall and sprain a wrist
You'll catch a small cold
Deep into the wood
For one afternoon
Just us
This winter chill
This cold pain
Insignificant in the moment
Deep into the wood
I've come to pay my respects and
You've come
To make sure I get
Home
