Conform to the Norm
To a great many folks growing up means conforming, like wearing a suit and tie...one does not need to conform to the norm in order to be a responsible (adult) person, pay the bills, keep one's word, etc.
I will not conform in that manner, and hence compromise my true Self...
For that very reason I became an artist Worked most all my life...for myself...
Didn't make a bunch of money...but I worked at what I loved. Paid my bills, kept my word, etc. Life is Good...(though politics suck) .

I take my hat off to you for making that leap of faith and integrity :)) Tapping into one's creativity is what will save the world one day when enough people do it, regardless of 'politics'.

I can never pass in an office environment...like water and oil
