You have got me
Going headlong
Without any brakes
Driving on the edge
Living dangerously
Just to keep the feeling
Skidding on ice
But still going
Hoping you will see me
There’s no safety net
I’m here without instructions
Trying to catch your eye
The devil on my shoulder
Is pushing me
Don’t want to stumble
Where I am flying
Is scary
As the fall could be great
Just want breath enough
To be able to say
Here is my heart

Often difficult to take a peaceful moment
when thoughts & thinking in a hurricane
of seemingly fast moving emotions
I recommend the calm within the eye
