Blood Runes
The thing is... I'm a witch
Blood is so full of our essence
And when accidents happen
And precious blood is spilled
How could I not use it?
It's as if the universe demands
Just a lovely touch of blood
Today is such a day
I cut my middle finger
While cutting an apple
Quickly I grabbed a paper towel
And soaked it up, trying to stop it
Trying to stop the blood flow
Holding it close as the scarlet stains
Spreading and flowering out
When it finally stopped
I put a bandaid on swiftly
And spread out the paper towel
To let it dry in peace
I gathered my supplies
A metal bowl, scissors, lighter,
My rune book, black liner pen
That ache deep in my chest
I put on that special song
And start cutting out the blood spots
Quickly, quickly before it ends
Swipe the runes on, faster
Faster, the song is ending soon
Take hold of the lighter
And set the blood runes aflame
Do not forget to hold onto that idea
Manifest that idea worth blood shed
Blood is so full of our essence
And when accidents happen
And precious blood is spilled
How could I not use it?
It's as if the universe demands
Just a lovely touch of blood
Today is such a day
I cut my middle finger
While cutting an apple
Quickly I grabbed a paper towel
And soaked it up, trying to stop it
Trying to stop the blood flow
Holding it close as the scarlet stains
Spreading and flowering out
When it finally stopped
I put a bandaid on swiftly
And spread out the paper towel
To let it dry in peace
I gathered my supplies
A metal bowl, scissors, lighter,
My rune book, black liner pen
That ache deep in my chest
I put on that special song
And start cutting out the blood spots
Quickly, quickly before it ends
Swipe the runes on, faster
Faster, the song is ending soon
Take hold of the lighter
And set the blood runes aflame
Do not forget to hold onto that idea
Manifest that idea worth blood shed
