The answer is Maybe
I never understood the pain she must have felt
Leaving the only man she ever loved over a concept
I thought her a fool when she spoke the words
Refusing to be the exception in his religious world
I was so blind thinking their souls were a perfect fate
But a mirror held to us revealed the meaning of inner faith
Choosing a greater love while eternally loving one other
Except we are alone, choosing ourselves over another
I'm so tired of this
Wanting only to be myself
Ourself
Not mimicking an acceptable
Someone else
Just know
No contract will ever to bind our turbid mind
We will not follow rules of archaic times
If I am to love you today or the possible never
Let me have tomorrow to decide on our forever endeaver
And every tommorow hence forth
Lest we sever
So we can produce an honest answer
An agreement to settle the weather.
