Wanderess
You can feel the pins pierced into your ribcage again.
One by one; and you ached for him.
Just one word and you'd pray for him.
Your heart was so pure; untouched by reality and believed in magic.
A beautiful glass treasure kept cautiously on display.
And he wanted it.
A heart full of gold, but a head full of chaos.
His crystalline stare begged you to take control.
But you couldn't be his savior.
He spread over you like a plague; infected.
Everything but his blood's been inside of you.
And you'd have taken that in if he'd let you.
Now your body begs for his slightest recognition.
And your soul screams out his name,
but he's had too many to keep track.
So you wander; a wanderess.
Never staying still for long enough for anyone to catch you.
You fill the void, smile for the camera, and proudly display your kill.
Because you just know, he'll be watching.
