I have seen the many islands -sadly
Oft times lived upon them...if there is at least one fruit-bearing tree there......You will stay strong and maybe one day make for land.
If not, I am sure You can build a worthy structure for all that matters.

Brava Jemac! A strong message. I have friends who wooed in vain the most educated, attractive women because they didn't take into account that they had to make themselves worth that prize. Kudos for being patient. 😁
