Twin towers
For no reason
Comes visions that nine eleven
The somehow of a whispered confession
That god could help the anger lessen
The statuesque that was ours to construct
Its landings where the lifts did stop
Turned the wing and lined it up
The time of abrieviated shock
Of gasps and cries as we obsorbed
Impailed the dagger that decends
Concrete an steel with fire scorched
No time to say a last amen
The swirling dust
Some without names
Affronts process, a nation and its loss
Of pictures held in shaking hands
Question with the answers yet unsaid
Rescorla a memorial there just to help
Ground zero and stand with head so bowed
The shadow monoliths in history knelt
Comes visions that nine eleven
The somehow of a whispered confession
That god could help the anger lessen
The statuesque that was ours to construct
Its landings where the lifts did stop
Turned the wing and lined it up
The time of abrieviated shock
Of gasps and cries as we obsorbed
Impailed the dagger that decends
Concrete an steel with fire scorched
No time to say a last amen
The swirling dust
Some without names
Affronts process, a nation and its loss
Of pictures held in shaking hands
Question with the answers yet unsaid
Rescorla a memorial there just to help
Ground zero and stand with head so bowed
The shadow monoliths in history knelt
