I'm a bass cadet
the one who's on the floor
from the minute they open
til they kick me out the door
with the speakers left and right
I feel the drop is coming
and the climax of the night
is the moment of succumbing
to the heat of the beat in the room
adrenaline is pumping
completely consumed
