Provoked by that discreet gaze,
I feel that spring to action
knowing you are present
despite the silent interaction

I would hope that if incited,
those fingers would dare
to venture beyond the waistband
past that trimmed tuft of hair

If I've stoked the hunger
then you'll know mine is just as fervent
my dented pants are in the way;
an unwelcome deterrent
