Where This Road May End
Do you ever want to get married?
Find someone to scorn until death
Someone to
Pick apart whenever one of us is late
Someone to ride with when a long drive seems the best answer
And fall asleep in the lazy afternoons we don't have to work
We'll get sentimental on random days
We'll fight and scream and tell our dreams
Like their some sweet fiction well written
As if life is a movie with a happy ending
Buy cheap cigarettes and off-brand soft drinks
Provisionally enclined to poke fun at each others hair
We both laugh at the wrong times but it's fun
At least the onlookers know we're soulmates
We'll buy a haunted house and make friends with ghosts
Paint the bathroom rust
Paint the kitchen bright orange
Though we both hate bright orange
Drink a few beers on our porch
That's falling down
But it's always home if you're there.
Find someone to scorn until death
Someone to
Pick apart whenever one of us is late
Someone to ride with when a long drive seems the best answer
And fall asleep in the lazy afternoons we don't have to work
We'll get sentimental on random days
We'll fight and scream and tell our dreams
Like their some sweet fiction well written
