THE LENT WITHOUT EASTER...

When the world converged all in to one,
There could I find sweet repose and delight,
When again I could see the morning sun,
The stultification and ennui ceased to fight...
However, the lighthouse is too far away,
To keep all and sundry forever at bay,
And little did I know that Easter was precluded by the Lent,
Behold how my life got what it never meant...
Was this, then,Accursed Maker, the sheer travesty of life,
Where Cupid's misdirected dart shall never win,
If it be so,I am dead already with this strife,
For outwardly do I live but I am dying within...
Gloom and despair, twin pillars ,to form my plight,
Arrive in an unprecedented measure to give,
No hope of dawn amidst this eternal night,
Trust me upon my word, when I say,I have no more reason to live...
