Crying under water
Heart heavy, it’s like something is on its mind,
Mind whispering, thoughts repeating, it may be that time,
Soul searching for a reason, any reason will do,
Eyes seeing no point to it, I’m seeing no point to it,
No one to confide in, no one to really talk to,
Breathing getting difficult, slumber is close,
Before I close my eyes, I see a flash before my eyes,
20 pound weights, like chains, both wrists and ankles,
Bridge, on the edge, no contemplating, no complications,
I jump.
Landing on my back, sinking fast, yet slow, I see the moon,
It turns to a crystal ball, I see a woman, I see her child,
I see their smile, my family, my reason in the end,
Never noticed I was crying, till I cried under water.
