I hope you happy

I remember when we danced the night away.
I remember our very first day.
How coincidence turned out to be fate.
I remember our very first date.
How you looked so great.
I remember how I stumbled upon my words.
How I ran out of things to say.
I had never seen beauty this way.
I never thought one day these are the words I'll say.

I hope you happy.
I hope you on your mary way,
I'm not gonna stand on you're way.
I hope you've found a better one,
So you don't have to look behind.
I hope his everything you wished for and more,
Since now you and I are no more.

But I still remember how your smile swept me of me feet.
I still remember how your touch made my heart skip a beat.
I still remember how you made me feel like a king,
And how I've wished to make you my Queen.
I still remember you sitting next to me,
No better place in this world I would have been.
I still remember the simple life we planned.
we were going to buy a fast car and run away,
And build a giant house by the lake.
Our children would go to school,
You and I were going to grow old too soon.
We had everything worked out,
We had our names curved in a buck.
But who knew hearts we like glass.
Once they break they shutter.
Who knew I'd be the one chained to the past.
Who knew the first to bleed would heal last.
I never imagined one day I'll say these words.

I hope you happy.
I hope you on your mary way,
I'm not gonna stand on you're way.
I hope you've found a better one,
So you don't have to look behind.
I hope his everything you wished for and more,
Since now you and I are no more.

Despite how much you can ever love someone, at some point you need to learn when to let go......
And I guess this is my first step to that process
