Open Fire

The first one broke the window
The sound of the fire alarm emits over the shrieks and squeals
Shards of glass are flown around the atmosphere
Oh dear, oh dear it’s like violent fireflies
Out for blood and out to crush
But one fire just wasn’t enough.

A second wave of retribution and repulse whirls toward the door
Leave, leave now
Before it’s too late!
The bone to pick with the local bully
Ended up telling the messiest of stories.

Number three went down like a domino
With a bang and a scream
This is no fucking dream
Down they go, one by one
As if they were bowling pins, but each pin is pulled out of the grenade
An explosion of hate, a high firing rate
An assault rifle to stifle the hurt
Our school is no longer a sanctuary
But a disheveled graveyard.
