Mental mysteries and man-made misery,
fear in our eyes and our mind,
no "us and them" once again,
we know unity is what we must find.
Sold out our souls to serve systems,
for a few bucks and a role to play
and we dont know how to get away
but we sure as hell "don't live today"
"No llores mi querida
dios nos vigila"
Soon the soul will save and serenade us,
breathe in my little beings,
soon the sorrow will be gone
soon we will be dancing 'neath the dawn.
Past our paranoid past
and the fears of our future,
heartbeats heard
pounding round the world,
all day we dreamed of death
and lives we wished for,
hung up on hopes which
haunt us forever.
Was it us who went to waste?
Was it the mind that wore us out?
Come let us fly my beautiful beings
how much longer can we
drown in doubt?
"No llores mi querida
dios nos vigila"
Soon the soul will save and serenade us,
breathe in my little beings,
soon the sorrow will be gone,
soon we will be dancing 'neath the dawn.
