Jealousy
Some say its an evil spirit
what if, its a need you wont have,
creating the bad to feel good?
its like a seed wanting to grow
in an infertile field, producing
poisonous fruit
its nature is of a "dead living"
the feeling of a numb heart .
Some say its all in the mind
what if, its a feeling from birth
made humans to compete
for improving the universe?
what if, its part of life
what if, life is part of it
partly life and jealousy
only what if!..

Every human ( except psychopaths and others dealing with certain mental illness ) experience a wide-range of emotion - jealousy being one. A little jealousy is healthy; it prevents a person from taking another for granted. Or, it can show a person how much another cares. However, too much jealousy produces possessiveness, which is unhealthly in any relationship. We could not be human without the experience of these emotions. I believe emotions are not to be expelled but mastered, so that they do not control a person.
Jealousy is a beacon of insecurity alerting you that something inside you needs attention. You're either afraid you're going to lose someone ( or thing ); or, that you're not getting as much attention/recognition as another person. Only you can determine which it is, and how to control it. Afterall, my father always said knowing is half the battle - and I haven't discovered he's been wrong yet.
It's a good write which promotes self-reflection, imbongi. Thanks for sharing.

JEALOUSY IS A DOUBLE EDGE SWORD THAT CUTS BOTH WAYS THROUGH THE HEART AND SOUL CREATING CONFUSION OF THE MIND AND HEART, BUT ONE MUST LOOK WITHIN ONES OWN SELF TO REALIZE THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM EITHER YOU WILL FIX IT OR LEAVE IT ALONE, FOR SOME JEALOUSY SITUATIONS CAN BE DANGEROUS SOMETIMES ENDING IN DEATH...NICELY WRITTEN

Jealousy like all other forms of hatred grows inside the heart
It is a seed planted, watered and grown earlier on in a person's development
As this person grows that seed sprouts shooting into a plant with deep roots
At that point it's too late and almost impossible to change
