Time Stand Still
They say time waits for no one and it goes by fast,
Better enjoy the moment because nothing else lasts…
Every single image and experience embedded on my mind,
Is in a decline designed by life to be a distant thought,
Like a faraway memory turning into a reverie,
Drifting like some surreal dream I once had seen but never caught.
It’s then when I suddenly pen longing to relive it again,
As the present slips by without a goodbye in a Rush until…
I realize the days are gone feeling reflective and withdrawn,
Dwelling happy in the moment but wishing for time to stand still.
