Justified Drunk

Self sedation is both soothing and dangerous.

If all of it is poison, then is it so wrong to just pick one?

We are all temporary.

We are all terminal.

Time is never a guarantee.

We are always so pretentious to assume we will only die from an illness that results from our bad choices....

But what about accidents? What about nature?

What about something as terrifying as an object falling from the sky?

A simple, accident. No evil, no misguided action. Death was simply a result of time and place. It was that simple.

Yes I’m trying to justify being drunk right now by saying “ well I could also die from a falling tree branch! So what?! At least I feel better god dammit!”

Yes I’m that person.
